During the procedure, a tiny plasma flash (also referred to as an electrical arc) is discharged from the tip of the Fibroblast hand piece. The tool itself never touches the skin, however plasma flash creates a tiny dot upon contact. There are no cuts and no blood. This innovative technology uses sublimation process, turning solid directly to gas to tighten skin tissue. Targeted tissue sublimate, causing no damage to surrounding areas or deeper skin layers.
Further dots are applied creating a symmetrical grid over the treatment area. Effects are noticeable right away. Full results become visible after 2-4 weeks. The client can resume regular activities right away with minimal discomfort.
Fibroblast Plasma Skin Tightening is virtually painless. Numbing cream is used to minimise discomfort before and during procedure. Side effects are minimal and complications are rare. Carbon crusts, a tiny superficial dot which form directly on the skin, are part of the normal healing process. Correctly treated with aftercare cream will cause no threat and the crusts fall off 5-10 days after treatment. Aftercare instructions will be given to a patient following the procedure. It is very important to adhere to our aftercare advice.

Full consultation is required before treatment. We discuss medical history, whether the client would be a suitable candidate for this treatment and assess the best treatment plan. Possible conditions jeopardizing safe and effective procedure will be discussed.
One treatment may be sufficient, however this depends on treated area size, amount of loose skin, and client's expected degree of correction and tightening. Additional procedures may be performed 8 weeks after the first one. We strongly advise to follow our aftercare guidelines to minimise discomfort and ensure quick healing.
What is Fibroblast Plasma Skin Tightening?
Fibroblast Plasma Skin Tightening is a non-surgical lift procedure giving the same results as traditional surgery. It is safe and bloodless. Numbing is applied locally prior to treatment. This innovative technique will not cause over-lifting. Only the excess skin is affected during the procedure. Clients are able to notice results right away, although it takes 2-4 weeks for full effect to be visible. Fibroblast procedure is only performed by the trained Specialist in our salon.
How does the Fibroblast work?
The Plaxpot Fibroblast hand piece produces a tiny plasma flash which leaps from the tip to the skin in a micro-millimetre sized point. This superficial point minimises the skin in its immediate vicinity - which reduces the excess skin, tightening the area being treated. A series of brown spots are strategically placed to attain the desired result for the excess skin. The skin around the spot tightens, pulling the cells closer together. Only the surface of the skin is affected and deeper layer, known as the basal lamina, is not.
It's the only non-surgical treatment to successfully reduce the excess skin instantly. There is no damage to surrounding areas or deeper skin layers. Patients can resume regular activities right away with minimal discomfort.
Is consultation required?
Yes. Anyone interested in Fibroblast procedure is required to have a face-to-face consultation. Careful assessment by our Specialist will ensure the right treatment plan. Multiple factors affect the ageing process. Each person and treated area is different and needs to be determined individually. Our goal is to keep clients informed and meet their expectations. Consultations are approximately 30 minutes.
How long is the Fibroblast procedure?
To minimise any discomfort, numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area. It take approximately 45 mins to 1.5 hours for the anaesthetic to take effect. The procedure itself takes between 30-90 minutes depending on the size of the treated area. You will be advised of the during upon consultation.
Does the procedure hurt?
Fibroblast is a non-surgical treatment with little to no pain reported by patients. Topical anaesthetic cream is applied to numb the area to be treated prior to the procedure. Immediately after the treatment, the skin will be reddened and lightly swollen. This will usually last up to 3 days, although slight redness may remain for up to 2-3 weeks. Please note upper eye lids will have swelling for approximately 3-4 days, so bare this in mind when planning your treatment.
During the procedure, small dots of carbon crusts will form on the skin directly where the Fibroblast tool was applied. Crusts should not be touched for 5-10 days, however post-procedure aftercare tinted cream may be used that can be purchased to camouflage them. To minimise complications, you will be informed on proper aftercare following the procedure.
Are there any side effects after the treatment?
Fibroblast is very safe and side effects are rare, but infection, scarring and temporary change of skin pigmentation may occur if the patient does not follow the adequate aftercare.
How should I prepare for the treatment?
We advise strengthening the skin with Vitamin A cream 1-2 weeks prior to the scheduled treatment. Our Specialist will recommend this at the consultation. We suggest not to apply any cosmetics before the procedure, especially mascara if the procedure is an eye treatment. The Specialist should be informed about any recent medical conditions and medications taken. The client must mention surgeries or aesthetic procedures previously or currently performed on the skin, and any allergies to the Specialist. The client will be given a full Prep and Restriction information in their booking confirmation email.
Are the full effects of the Fibroblast procedure visible right away?
Most clients should notice the effect of the procedure right away. However, the client may experience some swelling post treatment, but best results should be visible by 4 weeks as the skin is regenerated. In some cases, clients may need more than one treatment. This depends on treatment are and skin condition as well as the client's expectations.
How many treatments are required?
In some cases, just one treatment may be sufficient, especially with lighter corrections. Many of the treatments will depend on the size of the treated area and client's desired degree of correction. Full effect of the first treatment will be visible by 4 weeks following the procedure. If the client requires additional treatment to achieve optimal results, those should be scheduled at 8 weeks intervals. Effectiveness of Fibroblast non-surgical lift is comparable to traditional techniques. In order to evaluate the number of required procedures and choosing the best treatment plan, a face-to-face consultation is required. Additional treatments will be at a discounted price. Please see our Pricing for more details.
How long will the effect of the treatment last?
The treatment should last long-term, although it is difficult to predict exactly. Ageing is a dynamic process and there are many factors affecting patients individually. Lifestyle, diet and genetics, just to mention a few. As of today, permanent results are not possible, whether after Fibroblast procedure or traditional surgery, the skin is still be subject to ageing.
The skin will continue to relax and loosen again. In some rare situations, ageing may be accelerated and effectiveness of Fibroblast would be shortened. The Specialist will discuss those conditions, so clients have a better understanding of what to expect.
Is Fibroblast safe?
Yes. Fibroblast is an innovative state-of-the-art product made in Germany. It is certified by European C.E. This means that the product meets high safety, health and environmental protection requirements. Fibroblast treatment is already extremely popular across Europe and is taking the UK by storm. The client will be asked by the Purebeau Specialist to fill in and sign a consent form. All potential side effects will be carefully explained.
Is Fibroblast treatment right for me?
Fibroblast can be used for many areas of the body. Eye lid, under eyes, crows feet, facial, neck skin tightening, body lifting, scar correction or stretch marks. If the client suffer from any of these conditions but have hesitated with traditional surgical procedures, non-invasive Fibroblast treatment may be the right solution.
